Your data is automatically (transparently) encrypted as it is written to the drive and is automatically decrypted as you use it. DiskAssurity acts like any other disk drive yet your data is securely protected using the AES NIST (US Government) approved algorithm with 128 bit encryption.
Token Authentication
For full-strength security USB type tokens are used for authentication. Just plug your unique token into the back of your drive (3 tokens are provided with the drive) and you now have access to your protected data.
Without the token, the disk is useless (all of the data is encrypted and the token contains the key to unlock it) so if someone steals your disk you can be assured that your important files and documents will remain safe.
Get up & Running Straight away
Just plug the drive directly into your USB port on your laptop or desktop computer and you are ready to go. DiskAssurity works with any operating system - Windows, Mac, Linux and does not require any drivers.
Power is supplied through your PS2 port - don't worry if you already have a device using this port - our power-through cable enables you to plug another device in too. A USB cable and PS2 power adapter is provided with your drive - everything you need in fact to get up and running straight away.
