Using FAOPGP

Windows System Tray

FAOPGP main menu options that are not specific to protecting or unprotecting files can be accessed via the icon in the Windows System Tray. Hovering the mouse over this icon will display your logon status. Right-clicking on this icon will enable different menu options depending on whether you are logged on or not.

When you are not logged on the following menu is displayed :

You can only view the help file and log on to FAOPGP.


When you are logged on the following menu is displayed :




Logon
Logoff
Secure Text Editor
Default Settings
Key Manager

When you are logged on all of the menu options are enabled and the icon changes to a brighter background with a yellow key .
