Using FAOPGP
Windows Explorer Options
All FAOPGP options can be accessed directly from Windows Explorer. The menu displayed is sensitive to the files you select depending on whether they are protected or not. The 'Protect' option is shown at the top of the menu for non-protected files whilst the 'Unprotect' option is shown for protected files.

Menu Options
Protect > Protect Files
Encrypts/signs the selected files. See Protecting Files.
Unprotect
Decrypts/verifies the selected files. See Unprotecting Files.
Secure Text Editor
Opens up the secure text editor window where you can create or copy in text to secure. See Secure Text Editor.
Secure Delete
Deletes the selected files/folders so that they are no longer recoverable. See Deleting Files Securely.
Key Manager
Displays the Key Manager dialog where you manage your own and other peoples keys.
Default Settings
Displays the Default Settings dialog where you configure FAOPGP default actions for handling files and folders.
Help
Displays the FAOPGP help guide (this manual).
FAOPGP Icons
This icon is displayed next to files that have been protected by FAOPGP.
Double-clicking on Files
Double-clicking on a protected file will unprotect it.
Double-clicking on a key file will open up the Key Importer dialog. See Importing Keys.
NOTE:
The FAOPGP GUI can be used instead of Windows Explorer depending on your preference.
