Encrypt & Digitally sign your files, folders and  email attachments for secure storage or sending.  Securely delete your files to US Government DOD standards.

Files can be stored securely on any media (local, network and removable drives) or shared securely with others. Any type of file can be protected regardless of the file extension.

ENCRYPTING FILES, FOLDERS AND DOCUMENTS
By encrypting files you ensure that only those people you choose can view them. FileAssurity uses
AES, the strongest US government approved algorithm to encrypt your files. You can encrypt files for specific individuals or for groups.

DIGITALLY SIGNING FILES AND DOCUMENTS
Files can be digitally signed to prevent them being altered without your knowledge and to allow others to verify that you created them.  Any attempt to alter signed files is detected automatically and the user is notified.

SECURE EMAIL
FileAssurity lets you protect and send files in one simple process. Your default e-mail client is automatically opened with the secure file(s) attached.  You can send secure e-mail attachments regardless of the e-mail client you or your recipients are using. The sender and receiver don't have to use the same products or versions.

SECURE FILE DELETION
FileAssurity ensures your files are completely removed in one easy step beyond US Government DOD 5220.22-M standards.  Additional security measures ensure your files cannot be recovered even by dedicated file recovery programs.

SECURE ARCHIVES & SPACE SAVING COMPRESSION
FileAssurity automatically compresses each file or archive that you protect ensuring minimum disk space is used using compression comparable to WinZip.

Multiple files can be stored in a protected archive (just like a .ZIP file but securely protected).  You can view, delete and extract files in the archive.  This is a convenient and highly secure method for long-term storage or for the sending of multiple files and folder structures.  Archives can be signed to prevent tampering with the contents and so that the recipient can verify who sent them.

NO PURCHASING OF CERTIFICATES/KEYS REQUIRED
FileAssurity does not require you to buy certificates and keys from a Certificate Authority (although you can do if you prefer).  It's built-in key manager lets you generate self-signed keys and certificates which you can distribute to others.  Alternatively, you can import keys from any Certificate Authority (CA).   See
formats supported.

SIMPLE TO USE
Encrypt, sign, decrypt, and verify single or multiple files and folders in a single click.  Select your files, choose who you want to encrypt them for, whether you want to sign them, and press the 'Secure' button.  Your files are now protected.

You can specify where you want to save files to and whether you want to overwrite existing files and keep current folder structures.  FileAssurity also supports dragging & dropping of files and folders straight from Windows Explorer.

FREE READER (DECRYPTION & VERIFICATION OF FILES)
Other people do not have to purchase FileAssurity in order to verify and decrypt files you send them – they can do this for FREE by
downloading our free reader software.   free security software

APPLICATION INDEPENDENT
FileAssurity has been designed to be independent of applications for two reasons.  The first is that can never be exposed to the security weaknesses of those applications. The second is that it will work regardless of the applications you have already selected.  You have no integration problems and no update incompatibilities.

FileAssurity will encrypt and digitally sign any type of file or document regardless of the application that generated it
(word processing document, spreadsheet, etc.).
